Unfortunately, this month I haven't been able to advance as much as I would like because I didn't have time and I have been doing differents works with the miniatures.

One of those works has been starting to paint 21 termagants with fleshborers to complete the 9 that I already have painted (very old ones, really).

Despintar/Scraping

Somes of the miniatures that I will paint are secon hand and already painted. To scrape them I has used brake fluid. For plastic and metal miniature you can leave them a few hours and rub them with an old toothbrush. We can repeat the process until we are happy with the result.

This is the initial appearance of  some of the miniatures that I have scraped:

With some luck you can achieve miniatures as good as new.

Capa base/ Base Layer

In this case I have primed the miniatures with a base layer of Surface Primer Black 70.602 of Vallejo with airbrush.

Then I have applied Surface Primer Grey 70.601 of Vallejo to reinforce the points of light.

Primeros pasos del caparazón/ First steps for the carapace

I decided to start painting the carapace with a mixture of 50% of Black 71.057 and Blue 71.004 of Vallejo. By now I have only used the airbrush. Let's see how many steps I can carry on like this.

So this is all for this month. I hope I can work faster with the gants the next month.

Have fun.
