Introducción
El fin de semana del 17 de marzo tuve el placer de asistir a un curso de Marc Masclans, otro autentico artista del pincel. Realmente tengo mucha suerte de vivir en Madrid y que haya gente como Banshee esforzándose en traernos esta clase de cursos.
La miniatura que se pintó durante el curso fue el busto de Durgar de Hera Models. Un busto en principio simple pero con mucha personalidad y calidad, un gustazo de pintar.
The wekeend of the 17th of march I have the pleasure to assist to a course of Marc Masclans, a truly artist of the brush. I'm really lucky to live in Madrid and that there is people like Banshee working for give us this kind of courses.
The miniature that we painted was the Durgar bust of Hera Models. A simple bust but full of character and quality, a joy to paint.
Marc dio durante su curso una gran importancia a los volúmenes, si bien es un tema a destacar en todos los cursos,
Otro tema en el que hizo hincapie y en el que creo que aprendí mucho fue el de los tipos de pincelada, el trazado de las mismas y como dirigir la pintura con nuestro trazo. No me veo capaz de describir dichas enseñanzas así que no dudéis en acudir a algún curso suyo si tenéis la oportunidad.
Sin más, os dejo con las fotos de la miniatura. Aún no está acabada. Esto es tan solo lo que realicé durante el fin de semana.
Marc give during the course a lot of importance to the volumes, but this is a normal subject in the courses.
Another important matter in this course, and one wich I think I have learnt a lot was the kind of brushstroke, outline then and how to guide the paint with our stroke. I'm not able to explaing this knowledge by myself so don't hesitate to go to a Marc course if you have the oportunity.
